Bucket Elevators and Vertical Conveyors for Lifting Transport
The bucket elevator is often used in situations where a facility needs to get materials from one point to another in vertical and horizontal situations. The bucket elevator is an enclosed structure, which has buckets on the inside for carrying all sorts of materials from food and cosmetics to chemicals, glass, recycling, pharmaceuticals, and more. A bucket elevator can be used in almost any situation and can be custom designed to twist and turn throughout a production line if necessary, all the while not spilling any of its load. The bucket elevator can have multiple access points for adding more materials along the line.
A vertical conveyor is a freight elevator, which lifts products and materials up and down along an assembly line or to different floors where the products or materials are needed. The only real difference between a vertical conveyor and a regular elevator is that the vertical conveyor was never meant to carry people in it. The vertical conveyor can be sized as big or as small as you need it, with more expense going into those, which are bigger or needed to be able to lift heavier items.
